Hello, Acorri. Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions!

I'm Pdebee, one of the other editors here, and I hope you decide to stay and help contribute to this amazing repository of knowledge.

Some common sense Dos and Don'ts:
  Do be bold
  Do assume good faith
  Do be civil
  Do keep cool!
Do maintain a neutral point of view
  Don't spam
  Don't infringe copyright
Don't edit where you have a conflict of interest
  Don't commit vandalism

If you need further help, you can:
  Ask a question
or you can:
  Get help at the Teahouse
or even:
Ask an experienced editor to "adopt" you

Alternatively, leave me a message at my talk page or type {{helpme}} here on your talk page, and someone will try to help.

There are many ways you can contribute to Wikipedia. Here are a few ideas:
  Fight vandalism
Be a WikiFairy or a WikiGnome
  Help contribute to articles
  Perform maintenance tasks

Become a member of a project that interests you
  Help design new templates
Subscribe and contribute to The Signpost

Remember to always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes ~~~~ at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your signature, a link to this (your talk) page, and a timestamp.
The best way to learn about something is to experience it. Explore, learn, contribute, and don't forget to have some fun!

To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. You can create your own private sandbox for use any time. Perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you can put {{My sandbox}} on your userpage.

Sincerely, Patrick. ツ Pdebee.(talk)(guestbook) 22:18, 28 June 2018 (UTC)   (Leave me a message)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Elizabeth Ewen, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page New York (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:12, 13 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hey look, I double barnstarred you! No worries, everyone who helps deserves it. If you are able, can you drop by at Wikipedia:Wikipedia Signpost/Newsroom, maybe click the "start article" button for one of the missing sections? The Traffic Report needs to be started, for instance. ☆ Bri (talk) 20:09, 20 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Retired

[edit]

Just wondering if you are retired? We have you listed as owner of the Traffic report at The Signpost but I've been filling in lately. ☆ Bri (talk) 00:38, 30 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Bri: Sorry I vanished for so long. It was a temporary retirement, I guess. I don't think I'll have time to do the Traffic Report again for a long time, if at all. I feel awful for leaving you hanging like that! I'll really try not to do that again. AcoriSage 22:29, 8 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
It's OK, nobody should feel tied into a volunteer thing. I'll just mark it vacant now. ☆ Bri (talk) 02:10, 9 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You've been unsubscribed from the Feedback Request Service

[edit]

Hi Acorri! You're receiving this notification because you were previously subscribed to the Feedback Request Service, but you haven't made any edits to the English Wikipedia in over six months.

In order to declutter the Feedback Request Service list, and to produce a greater chance of active users being randomly selected to receive invitations to contribute, you've been unsubscribed, along with all other users who have made no edits in six months.

You do not need to do anything about this - if you are happy to not receive Feedback Request Service messages, thank you very much for your contributions in the past, and this will be the last you hear from the service. If, however, you would like to resubscribe yourself, you can follow the below instructions to do so:

  1. Go to the Feedback Request Service page.
  2. Decide which categories are of interest to you, under the RfC and/or GA headings.
  3. Paste {{Frs user|Acorri|limit}} underneath the relevant heading(s), where limit is the maximum number of requests you wish to receive for that category per month.
  4. Publish the page.

If you've just come back after a wikibreak and are seeing this message, welcome back! You can follow the above instructions to re-activate your subscription. Likewise, if this is an alternate account, please consider subscribing your main account in much the same way.

Note that if you had a rename and left your old name subscribed to the FRS, you may be receiving this message on your new username's talk page still. If so, make sure your new account name is subscribed to the FRS, using the same procedure mentioned above.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask on the Feedback Request Service talk page, or on the Feedback Request Service bot's operator's talk page. Thank you! Message delivered to you with love by Yapperbot :) | Is this wrong? Contact my bot operator. | Sent at 18:01, 14 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
